Marcel.lí Antúnez Roca is one of the most restless and heterodox artists of the contemporary art scene. He has achieved worldwide recognition for his works and performances, such as Epizoo. In the past, he belonged to so prestigious groups as La Fura dels Baus - which he co-founded-, and from the early nineties onward he works as an independent artist. His multidisciplinary shows open unforeseen perspectives to the application of multimedia and interactive technologies. This book offers a comprehensive perspective on Antúnez Roca's artistic development. It is the first monography centered on the Catalan artist's work, and also the first book published by MECAD in a collection that will not only comprise printed books, but also CD-ROM and on-line editions.
