MECAD\Media Centre d’Art i Disseny has its headquarters in Passeig de Gràcia, 114, with shares with the IuEATM (FUNDIT Foundation).
MECAD/ESDi students and collaborators can also access to the installations of the Superior School of Design ESDi in Sabadell. The building used to be, at the turn of this century, a textile laboratory. It was completely restored in the 1980’s, and now has 10,000 sq.m on four floors for offices, workshops, labs, the library, etc.
Various rooms with PC, Apple Macintosh, AVID platforms, video and audio labs, set, edition rooms, etc. are available for those artists in residence devoted to the production of their own works or the collaboration in projects developed by MECAD.
