Escola Superior de Disseny ESDI

Founded in 1989, ESDI is the first centre for higher education in Spain to offer a university-level degree in Electronic Art and Digital Design, begun in 1998. These studies have as their goal a complete education related to the audiovisual fields (video, digital animation, visual effects), multimedia (interactive works in CD-ROM, DVD and other media), digital imagery (digital photography, infography), and telecommunication networks (net.art, interactive webs). The program is structured in two cycles: the first consists of three academic years with a common body of interdisciplinary subjects, while the second cycle consists of one academic year plus a project and one semester thesis, with specific subjects oriented towards specialization in either electronic art or digital design.
