Eduardo Huerta
Theory and Design research Dept.

Biography: Was born in Santiago, Chile en 1980. He is a Visual Communication Designer, graduated with honors at Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana (Santiago, Chile) in 2004. His thesis topic was “Users Graphics Interfaces”. Because he was very interested on Information Technologies, during 2005 he studied the Master on Creation and Design for Interactive Systems (ESDi/URL) organized by MECAD\Media Centre of Art & Design of ESDi, Barcelona. He has worked in differents design enterprises in Chile since 2004. These enterprises have deal with Web Design and Multimedia, besides to realize several projects as freelancer, since he was on third academic year of his career. Currently, he is in Barcelona and MECAD/ESDi granted him a research and educational formation scholarship to participe in the production of the several projects. He is Multimedia Engineering Doctorate student in the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona.

Vanina Hofman (Buenos Aires, 1978).

She is graduated in Design of Image and Sound by the University of Buenos Aires . She attended to courses of photography and new technologies applied to the creation of installation art and performance multimedia. She was member of the research group of the Centre for Hypermedia Experimentation Latin America , in collaboration with the Programme Digital Cultures from the University of California . She has worked in different areas in Buenos Aires as advertising, TV, filmmaking and during the last year as a producer of seminars and workshops about Art and New Technologies. She lives in Barcelona where she is doing a Master on Curatorial and Cultural Practices in Art and New Media of ESDi and Ramon Llull University . She won a scholarship to work in several projects.
